How much does a custom inground pool cost in Middle Tennessee?+
Every project is custom, so pricing depends on size, shape, finishes, decking, and outdoor living features. Most custom gunite pool projects in our area start in the mid five figures and scale up from there. During your free consultation we'll build a transparent, itemized proposal with no surprises.
How long does a new pool take to build?+
A typical Sherman Pools inground pool takes 8–14 weeks from groundbreaking to first swim. Larger projects with pavilions, outdoor kitchens, or complex hardscape can take longer. Weather and permitting can also affect the timeline — we keep you informed at every milestone.
Do you handle permits, engineering, and HOA approvals?+
Yes. Sherman Pools handles all permitting, engineering, code compliance, and HOA submittals on your behalf so you don't have to.

Absolutely — attached spillover spas, standalone spas, swim-up bars, and even swim-in-place options are all available.
Do you service pools you didn't build?+
Yes. Our service team maintains and repairs pools across Middle Tennessee, regardless of who built them originally.
What kind of maintenance will my pool need?+
Most owners choose a weekly service plan for full peace of mind. If you prefer to maintain your own pool, we'll train you on proper chemistry, cleaning, and equipment operation during handoff.
Are your pools energy efficient?+
Yes. We use variable-speed pumps, high-efficiency heaters, LED lighting, and smart automation so you save on energy costs and control your pool from your phone.
